Naam
WaheGuru Ji Ka Khalsa WaheGuru Ji Ki Fateh

Naam or Shabad (‘Divine Name’) is the Supreme Power and Light of God. Like God, his Divine Name is everlasting. Naam is the ‘Divine Presence’ everywhere, supporting all things at all times.
Due to sins which lie deposited on our minds since ages (gathered in countless births), Naam remains concealed within us.
Naam (the ‘Divine-Name’ ) is a mantra revealed by Guru Nanak Sahib Ji through Gurbani (the divine words of God) and can only be acquired through the grace(kirpa) of the Guru.

The Shabad dwells deep within the nucleus of all beings. God is invisible;
(also visible) wherever I look, there I see Him (SGGSJ 944).

 Creation and destruction happen through the Shabad. Through the Shabad, creation
happens again (SGGSJ p-117).

 The created universe is the manifestation of
God's Name. O God, without Your Name, there is no place at all (SGGSJ p-4).
